Last night I finished knitting the hot water bottle covers, yay!
The pattern is from Jane Brocket's book, "The Gentle Art of Knitting" and is super-easy but with a fair bit of sewing up at the end.
These covers (plus bottles!) are for my step-son and partner. We always make them up a yummy food hamper too, full of tasty vegetarian things and wholefoods. They are very into natural and locally-sourced things, and I made sure to use eco-yarn which has been naturally dyed.
My needles won't be resting though, as I have a hooded cardigan to make for my Great-Nephew who will be 2 months old at Christmas! :)
The pattern is available free on Ravelry.
I'm doing mine in a nice, Christmassy red! He'll look like a cute little elf! :)
Better get on with it...
Happy Sunday Friends! :) xx
